I'm glad the film ended there. There's a part of me breaking when I read of Shoya's and Shoko's hereafter, but there's also a part of me that say's it'll be fine. It'll all work out.
Shoya, did found his voice after all.

I love how the film movie ended but after reading the hereafter of Takao Akizuki and Yukari Yukino, I felt relieved. And the last poem was as well her words on the last chapter was well read.
-----
I didn't read the entirety of the manga for the two awesome film animations, only up to the point of where the film ended, but there are three things that somehow added a whisk of magic in the said films.
1. In the absence of voice, I clearly read what they say. Though I regret that I couldn't tell how the characters felt, I'm sure happy I did read it, as some things were cleared to me. Plus, left out dialogue are what made me understand the film a bit better.
2. The hereafters are awesome. Things you didn't see in the movie. As well as things that were left out of the movie. It made you feel a certain satisfaction of knowing what happened next even though, from the end, I wish the four characters well in the journeys ahead.
3. It gave the reader a broader, distant and at the same time satisfactorily vague sight of what's going to happen.. I wish I could read on, past the ending of these two. This is the true ending after all. Unless a revive happened -_-
Also one last thing, I read a few parts of Silent Voice manga before that fall... And it seemed it gave me a different view, to be specific, it showed me how Shoko lived her day to day life. It was awful yet at the same time amazing. It truly captured what was going on in her life, all her hardship and how she copes up with it.
