I wanted to write something about another film I just recently watch, kokoro ga sakebitagatterunda, Anthem of the Heart, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and written by Mari Okada. (as told in wikipedia) But I wanted to introduce a new character in my mind: "The Firefly King" I will be using this character in a few of my upcoming post, so please bear with me.
What is the role or rather objective of the Firefly King? For now, I guess is to rewrite the literally world with the best ending as possible while maintaining lucidity and consciousness. Well, probably not just ending but different part of the story. But it will most probably be playing on inside my mind and might not be written here. I am sorry if I am selfish of this.
Before when I was still a student of literature, I wanted to make a project, to rewrite the bible and name it as "The Unwritten Bible," the tales in that project will still be the same but it will have backstories and in depths of each individual often trivial characters. Perhaps because I have written a school homework once about the backstory of Goliath. But enough about that.
Anyway, these are two film I still want to talk about: "Shape of Voice (Silent Voice)" and "Anthem of the Heart," only two for now, just because this is all I've watched recently which sparked the Firefly King to move. I'll be also watching other anime films as well. (Yes, I think I'm near otaku status)
I also watch other series anime as well (yup, otaku status here we go).
