poetry #5: The Broken Man

Only now
You've notice
The cracks.

You're afraid
Is it?
I'm right?

You came
To notice,
You're broken.

Too much,
No less,
You're broken.

You wish,
For it,
To hold,

But then,
Only tears,
Will fix,

You thought,
The cracks,
The dents,
Your scars,
That pain,
Your numbness...

Don't you
Feel anything?

You're broken,
Yet not
As much.

Don't you
Feel it?

Their screams,
Their death,
Their agony,
Their cry,
Their sorrow.

You've become,
The fear,
You never
Intend be.

That numbness,
Certain feeling,
Of alright,
Everything's fine,
Nothing matters,
No worries...

As it,
The world,
Burns melancholy.

You cannot
Feel it?
Is it
I'm right?

Only now,
You came
To notice
You're broken.
