"Why so
Keep your
Eyes blind?"
The little
Girl asked.
"In order
For me
To not
Lose sight,"
The blind
man said.
"How could
you see
If you
hide your
beautiful eyes?"
The little
Girl replied.
"You see,
There was
A time
I wanted
To see,
But it
Had made
Me lose
my sight.
"The world
Around us,
It makes
one forget.
With my
Eyes blind,
Perhaps I
won't forget
What I
Was looking
For from
The start,"
the blind
man replied.
"But you
Won't see
If you
Cover your
Beautiful eyes,"
the little
girl pleaded.
"What matters
More is
The sight
I want
To see,"
The blind
man said.
"If I
Can not
Find it,
Wouldn't it
Be better
If I
Could no
Longer see?"
"What about
the world?
It's beautiful,
Don't you
Want to
See it?"
the little
girl asked.
"The world
Without what
I wanted
Seen is
not beautiful,"
The blind
man argued.
"I'd rather
Stay blind,
Than not
find or
see it."
"What is
It you're
looking for?"
the little
Girl asked.
The blind
man paused.
He thought
of an
Answer to
the question.
What was
It he
wanted seen?
It has
Been ages
And ages
Since last
He saw.
So what
Was it?
Time passed,
His thought
Made up.
The blind
man answered:
"I forgot."
