"I will
change your
world," the
man told
his little
caged bird.
"It may
not seem
much but
here you
will be
live happily.
"But of
course, you
have to
bear the
iron bars
"They are
not meant
to imprison
you my
little bird,
"They are
there to
protect you,
to keep
you warm."
But the
little bird
felt chained.
She could
couldn't fly.
What's the
use of
her wings?
And the
little bird
felt cold,
no warmth.
The bars
though her
new house,
it was
not she'd
call home.
The man
smiled and
sat next
to the
bird cage.
"Inside you
can sing
your heart
out forevermore.
"Is that
not what
you wanted?
"You are
free to
sing all
days of
your life.
"So fret
not and
be happy.
Inside you
are free."
But the
little bird
knew she
was not.
In that
iron cage,
she will
live her
life without
the sky
and all
she'll do
is sing
sad requiems.
The home
the man
told her
is her
own casket.
