"Don't worry," the fairy princess said. "You won't remember that we did this."
They kissed. The human boy and the princess of the fairies kissed. It will be a memory forever etched in her mind but to the boy, he'll eventually forget about it. It was part of the princess's duty. She was given all the powers one needs in the world to protect and commit oneself to preserving order and balance. But to a price of memory.
Sooner or later, one the boy grew up, he will no longer see her nor will he still remember her. It would be like she never existed.
Fairy Princess cannot love after all. They cannot be unjust, show prejudice and have favorites. They have to be fair to all. So at the very least, to themselves they mustn't be fair.

But what if the child didn't want to forget? What if the child didn't want to grow up? Would he still see and remember her?
In all honesty, he was in love, for the first time and forever in his life. He was in love.
Is it just puppy love or a love that transcends everything else?
That is, if the boy is truly in love in the first place.

After all, that was her and his first kiss. Would anyone forget about it?
